Homestay Termination Form

 

INTRODUCTION

If a homestay student wishes to end their stay with the current host family, this form must be signed by both the student and a host parent and sent to Happy Homestay Adelaide.

The student must:
  • Notify the host family of the end date at least 2 weeks before moving out.
  • Discuss the moving-out time with the host family for the scheduled date.
  • Leave the bedroom clean, tidy, and in good condition, with a final check by the host before departure.
    Note: if professional cleaning is required due to stains or marks on carpets or walls, the cost will be charged to the student.
  • Take all personal belongings and dispose of any unwanted items before the moving date.
  • Return any towels, linens, and the house key provided by the host family.
The host must:
  • Assist the student with packing if they need extra bags or boxes.
  • Carefully inspect the room after cleaning to ensure it meets standards. If there is any damage, submit the Host Family Claim Form before the student departs, as the student must sign it.
    Note: Claims submitted after the student has left without a signed form may not be approved.
