If you have an after school activity you must tell your host what time you will arrive home. In general you should try to arrive in time for dinner each evening. Sometimes you will want to stay out with friends or attend special events put on by the school. The following curfews (deadlines for you to be home) are recommended by the school. Hosts are invited to discuss these times with you and work through any exceptions. Students aged 14y and under should be home by 8pm during week nights and 8:30 pm Saturday. Generally it is expected that students are not out all day until these times. Students aged 15y home by 8:30pm weekdays and 9pm Saturday Students aged 16y home by 9:00pm weekdays and 9:30pm Saturday Students aged 17y home by 9:30pm weekdays and 10pm Saturday Students aged 18y and over home by 9:30pm weekdays and 11pm Saturday *Host can set their own curfew time as a house rule, but it must be no later than the guideline above. **Exceptions - the school will support extended curfews for special occasions so long as the host is in agreement. ***AIS students should not be on public transport or walking the streets after curfew on a given day. Where possible in the hours of darkness hosts should ensure that there is safe travel arranged for student to and from home. Travel by car should be by a responsible adult who holds a WWCC. Woodcroft Curfew time guideline Sunday to Thursday Students MUST be at home by dinner time unless they have a work, sport or gym for fitness or school related commitment.
